What does the White Hill Parent Club do?

Without Parent Club, White Hill would have no clubs, no sports, no field trips, no dances, no speakers, no mobile museums, no classroom and yard supplies, and no staff appreciation.

We are boots-on-the-ground volunteers who help ensure that all the fun and hard work needing to be organized gets done... so, lots of stuff!

We are fundraisers, we organize community bridge-building events, we provide emergency equipment, we attend RVSD school board roundtable meetings, and so much more. But our primary focus is making sure that our kids and teachers are as happy as possible with their experiences at White Hill. We are everywhere!

What does White Hill Parent Club pay for?

We pay for everything around the school that isn't the basic minimum. We give teachers funds for their classrooms. We pay for sports, clubs, lunchtime play equipment, events, class-wide field trips, Binder Hospital, special projects, all assemblies...lots of stuff!

Parent club funds SO much at White Hill. Whatever you're thinking of...Parent Club probably funds it, including:

Field Trips
End of the year rulz! The big ones – 6th grade at Stinson, 7th grade at McNears for tacos and bay views, 8th grade to Six Flags. These are subject to change, but only for the better!
Lunchtime Clubs
Student-inspired. Teacher-led. Just to name a few: Debate Club, Magic: The Gathering Club, Knitting Club, Trivia Club, Dungeons & Dragons Club, Coding Club. #Can’tstopwon’tstop.
Sports
More sports than any public middle school in Marin! Go Wildcats! Mountain Biking, Volleyball, Cross-Country, Basketball, Golf, Wrestling, Track & Field. Thank you, parent-volunteer coaches. Gotta love ‘em.
Classroom Funds
Teachers have great ideas and we like to help them make the magic happen. Cuz you know who benefits? Our kids!
Dances
We’ve seen the data. Kids LOVE dances. And photo booths.
Teacher & Staff Appreciation
Spa days! Chair massages! Ok, we wish. But we try to keep our heroes snacked up and well-hydrated. Keep a look out for fun-themed events throughout the year. Our families make the good stuff happen.

What does it take to get involved with White Hill Parent Club?

It's simple... send us an eMail or sign-up to volunteer and let us know what you would like to do, OR we can find a position for you. We are great at conjuring positions that match volunteer specialties, so don't be afraid to ask about creating a new position!
